HIPAA compliance at PulseCare360

We follow the Health Insurance Portability and Accountability Act (HIPAA) to protect the privacy and security of patients’ protected health information (PHI). Only people who need information to deliver care can see it.

Our safeguards include

  • Encrypted connections (HTTPS) for every page, form and portal
  • Role-based access, so each person sees only what their role allows
  • Sign-in protection: strong passwords, lockout after repeated failed attempts and automatic sign-out
  • Activity logging of sign-ins and changes to records
  • Regular backups and a recovery plan
  • Privacy and security training for staff

Business Associate Agreements

Vendors that create, receive, store or transmit PHI on our behalf must sign a Business Associate Agreement (BAA) before they handle any patient data.
